Poll results: Would you reapply to your current job?
Here are the results of the poll in Newsletter #14
Would you reapply to your current job?
14,6% (Not a chance)
11,3% (Only at a different company)
37,7% (Probably, but I would add a few changes)
36,4% (Most definitely)
Total votes: 249
A great result for most of you. Being happy at work actually makes us healthier. And studies show that employees who like their job are more productive, more loyal and make excellent role models for their fellow workers.
If you are in the minority group, whatever your reasons are, it’s best to tackle them straight on. Of course you don’t want to make a rash decision, but it is not in your best interest and health to stay in a workplace or job you hate; it is certainly time to start looking for new possibilities.
Do you have any experience with a career change for the better?

Today marks an important day in Corporate Rebels’ vaunted history: We're embarking on a new adventure to radically shake up the world of work. How? We're launching a new company together with some of the most inspiring workplace pioneers in the world.
How are work outcomes affected by the treatment of those who do it? I have been exploring this question for ~50 years. In that time, one comment stuck with me more than any other. It was made in 1998 when I interviewed a group of men in Indianapolis who had redesigned most of the US city’s waste collection and disposal operations. “We are no longer expected to park our brains at the door when we come to work.”
