Welcome to our new forum!
Welcome to our brand new forum! It's the place to connect, learn, share, and take action to make work more fun.
I'll use my very first "topic" to invite you to create an account and introduce yourself right here.
So, who are you? Why are you here? And what do you want to get out of this forum?
Look forward to get to know all of you!
My name is Felix and I’m part of a company I’d call a ‘corporate startup’ where I act as Developer Advocate and Change Agent — if you wanna know more what’s behind that, let me know.
My background is mainly on the engineering part but due to my interdisciplinary education I’m kind of an allrounder. So besides the usual developer advocacy work I help our VPEs in terms of organizational effectiveness, employee experience & other more cultural topics.
Sometimes I share some thoughts on daheq.com
Looking forward to interesting discussions and exchange! Cheers
Hi :) looking forward to interacting with Rebels around the world and continuing to be challenged, encouraged and inspired!
I've been working in a Rebel role for the last year or so in a south UK based Housing Association, and have just moved to an interim Transformation Director role.
Great new improved site, Rebels, congratulations!
I'm working from Portugal, networking to promote the healthy workplace concept. Are you aware of any Portuguese organisations that have embraced the concept and are applying it? I haven't found examples so far and your bucket list doesn't mention any but I will continue my research.
We've come to know some organizations that are working hard to become more progressive, but we don't have any clear examples yet. I guess they must be in Portugal too, sometimes it just takes a very long time to find them.
Any ideas how to find progressive organizations over there so we can add Portugal on the Bucket List?
Hi, my name is Ellen.
Happy to say that I have been working at Corporate Rebels since September 2018.
My main focus is researching progressive organisations to see how we can all learn from them.
I am also responsible for organising Rebel Events. We try to have one a month in a city that could be anywhere in the world - to share what we learn. It is wonderful that at Rebel Events it is not only us sharing but also those people attending who work in progressive ways and to best practice.
Happy to see the Forum up and running now. Hope this will be a pond for sharing - with the goal to make work more fun!
Everything we do at the Corporate Rebels is aimed at our mission: to make work more fun. That’s why we started this blog five years ago and continue to publish stories twice a week. But guess what? We are now much more than a blog. We publish books, conduct research, work with clients, talk at conferences, manage a foundation, and have an online academy. It’s all by design. By expanding our activities, we’ve grown our impact. And we think you should join us.
When writing our book "Corporate Rebels, Make Work More Fun,” we missed the initial publication deadline by about two years. Now, with our second book, we’ve managed to miss yet another deadline. Let’s talk about it.
Many people feel stuck inside large, traditional, soul-sucking organizations. They know their company culture needs radical change, but feel as if they can't influence a damn thing. Luckily, several pioneers have cracked the code. Today, we share the inspiring case study of Bosch Power Tools.
