Data on self-organization and agile - profitability, cost savings, anything?
I am wondering, whether there is any hard data that can proof the benefits of more self-organization, transparency, agility and distribution of responsibility in an organization - apart from the Gallup study? Proven increase in employee engagement at least, better cost savings and increased revenue?
Here's some more data for a business case on employee engagement: https://corporate-rebels.com/employee-engagement-the-business-case/
And here's more data on purpose-driven organizations: https://corporate-rebels.com/purpose-in-business/
Hope that helps.
The idea of self-management tends to be received with both interest and cynicism. Amongst the varied reactions, there is one recurring doubt that I hear time and time again. That doubt is deep. That doubt, is trust.
