A key part of reinventing our organizations is upgrading the structures and processes. But there is often a missing piece: our mindset and behavior. Without upgrading how we think and who we are, self-managing teams won’t thrive. They won’t work the way we want them to.

In researching hundreds of self-managing teams and organizations, we have come to know their struggles. The ones we hear about most?

  • People struggle to adapt: With most being new to self-management, it’s not easy to unleash the right mindset and behavior, leading to untapped potential and suboptimal leadership.
  • Leadership vacuum: Without formal leaders, teams sometimes lack direction and struggle to make strategic decisions, potentially leading to drift or missed opportunities.
  • Letting go of old habits: People often fall back on ingrained command-and-control behaviors, undermining the self-managing structure and creating friction within teams.

Tough (and recognizable) challenges.

And we'd like to help.

Bootcamp

What is this Bootcamp?

We're partnering with Tuff Leadership Training, the world's top trainers on self-management skills, to launch a program that helps people thrive in self-managed organizations.

We call it: The Self-Management Bootcamp.

This Bootcamp is an intensive, experiential training in the mindset and skills that make self-managing teams work.

In bossless organizations, we need more leadership, not less. But it’s a totally different kind of leadership, and this course is designed to help you develop it.

Who is this for?

This online training is for people who want to thrive in a self-managing team. Yes, that includes everyone—founders, leaders, and team members alike.

It's perfect for:

  • Leaders who want to lead in a different way - without relying on command and control.
  • Employees who want to step up and take ownership in a self-managing environment.
  • Team members looking to develop the skills to excel in flat or bossless organizations.
  • Managers transitioning from traditional hierarchies to more progressive structures.

What to expect?

A challenging, practical training designed to apply an adult-to-adult mindset and way of being to unleash the full potential of your teams.

This is an experiential and intensive program where active participation is key. Expect a mix of solo, pair, and group exercises—some with role play, others using real cases.

The training will be held on Zoom, utilizing breakout rooms.

You'll benefit from the expertise of Tuff's highly experienced trainers, who bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world insights to guide you through this transformative Bootcamp.

What NOT to expect?

Theoretical training, ‘edutainment’, or webinars where you sit back and just listen!

Time commitment

The program consists of 6 modules spread over 6 weeks. Each module is an afternoon and a subsequent morning, including breaks (with the exception of the final module which is just one half-day).
