Local action
Rebel Cells are local or regional groups of progressive organizations that come together to share knowledge, experiences, and support each other in transforming the way they work. They aim to foster innovation, collaboration, and learning among members to push the boundaries of conventional work practices.
Global connection
Local cells are connected to a global network. Knowledge sharing happens through monthly online events, an exclusive online platform, and a yearly in-person meetup. Lots of highly progressive organizations are already part of this online community.

What's a Rebel Cell?
A fast-growing number of organizations are pioneering innovative work practices, emphasizing a range of strategies from prioritizing purpose and implementing self-management structures to adopting distributed ownership models.
Due to this growing global movement, there’s a strong demand for these organizations to connect, learn, and share together.
While the demand has been present, the supply wasn't. Until now.
Our network aims to connect all progressive employers worldwide.
The purpose? To keep evolving the way they work by learning, sharing, and connecting with like-minded pioneers.
Each cell includes one Cell Coordinator and various Cell Members:
- A Cell Coordinator (as the name suggests) coordinates setting up a Cell in a specific country. Ideally, this is an experienced transformation leader with proven transformation experience in new ways of working.
- A Cell Member is a pioneering organization looking to continue pushing the boundaries on how they work. This can be businesses of all sizes, government entities, non-profits, and educational institutions committed to new ways of working.
What it's not?
Rebel Cells are not merely talking groups like so many other movements. The cells are focused on action, learning from other progressive organizations, putting it into practice in their own environments, and then sharing what they learn as they evolve.
This global network of pioneering organizations is here to support each other in creating an ever better way of working.
What do members get?
Organizations that become a member in a Rebel Cell enjoy the following benefits:
- Access to all local events (meetups, company visits, etc.)
- Access to the Corporate Rebels Academy for 5 persons (including access to all courses, monthly online sessions, and the online community platform)
- Access to the annual global meetup for 2 persons
What does it cost?
Organizations that become members of a Rebel Cell pay an annual fee of €5,000, adjusted for local cost of living standards. This means if you live in a location with a lower cost of living (compared to the Netherlands), your organization pays less. If your local cost of living is higher, you pay more.
Government organizations pay 25% less. Charities and NGOs pay 50% less.
