The School For Better Business
In two months we launch two new cohorts of the Corporate Rebels Academy. We're looking forward to onboarding new people from all over the world. But before that, it’s a good time to share feedback from the first groups. Get ready for some good vibes.
The courses we ran in May/June were the very first from our Academy. Students joined from all over: from the Philippines to the US to Dubai and countries all over Europe.
As it was the first course, you can imagine we were anxious to do well. So, imagine how happy we were to get the feedback below...
Would you recommend the Academy to others?
Average 9,1 ⭐ out of 10 ⭐ (Net promotor score of 72!)
How would you rate the course content?

How would you rate the Academy platform?

Not bad, right?
To add perspective to the numbers, here’s what one alumnus said:
Jayne Price: "The academy provides something special, something you can't glean from a management book; the opportunity to hear the stories first hand from the amazing people responsible for designing and implementing progressive organisations, even moreso to then ask them questions... priceless!
Learning the concepts and constructs of these organisations in written and animated format over an intuitive, digital platform. Then translated into something useful for your individual situation, each week building a re-designed organisation canvas from what you have learnt.
The course format is also designed to foster relationships with fellow course attendees, like-minded, yet diverse thinking people, all on a mission to bring about workplace revolutions. Sometimes it can feel very lonely being a rebel in an ocean of conformity, finding your tribe is really comforting and gives you the strength to plough on!"
More inspiring words from the feedback:
"This course was my best decision ever. I learned a lot and I'm really thankful for everything!"
"This was a great experience! Again, congratulations on all the hard work that went into the course. It worked out really well!"
"The course was amazing and I really appreciate what I learned, experienced and felt during these intensive weeks. I think I'm a new person now!"
“I loved being part of the Corporate Rebels Academy – it was truly a transformational experience. I left with new ideas, new ways of working that I can bring back to my own organization! And yes… work can be more fun!”
"Thanks for bringing me one step closer to my dream of radically transforming organizations. I can't wait to put my learning into practice. And I loved the sense of community you guys managed to create."
As of this fall, we'll start organizing alumni events for all alumni of the Corporate Rebels Academy. Stay tuned for more news!

Today, we are launching another course in the Corporate Rebels Academy: “How Buurtzorg Works.” This inspiring case study of highly successful self-management explains how Buurtzorg, an organization with over 15,000 nurses, has pushed the boundaries of home health care in the Netherlands by operating with 100+ completely self-managed teams.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup has been appearing in the news for all the wrong reasons and is already one of the most controversial sporting events that have been organized. There have been many concerns about Qatar’s suitability as a host country but even more touched on is the treatment of workers hired to build the infrastructure. This is something that FIFA should have been aware of when the decision was made to host the event in Qatar due to the knowledge that the country relies heavily on migrant workers and its exploitive labor system.
For the last two years, we've been working on a book about Haier, the Chinese manufacturing firm reinventing management as we know it. Writing this book was a long, interesting, and intense process, but we managed to wrap up the final manuscript of the book earlier this year, titled "Start-up Factory." Although the book will only be published in September 2022, we gave Corporate Rebels Academy community members early bird access to the final manuscript. Here is a selection of their reactions to the book.
